These two sculptures are realized with very of care, particularly in the expression of the face, in the details of the hands and in the position of the body. The dimension "great" of the feet, has been a choice to characterize these two my sculptures.
I have taken the decision to put together Ike and Ayan because while sculpted, little by little they became complementary, because of the position of the body, that I had decided for them. The small hand of Ike seems to look for a support. As I watched the expression of Ike, so scared, I realized that he needed to near Ayan!
Ike & Ayan are modeled on a very sturdy skeleton of iron wire, entirely by hand in quality polymer clay without the use of molds. The eyes previously cooked and paintings, I then inserted during the processing of facial features. The wings are very carefully decorated by hand with glitter and material effect and are removable. Hair, are soft Tibetan wool. The clothes, by hand made with different materials. Ike holds in his small hand a wooden doll.
Measures: Ike is approximately 4” standing positionna. Ayan is approximately 4” kneeling position
