Cupid & Butterfly
Cupid is modeled on a very sturdy skeleton of iron wire, sculpted with great attention to detail entirely by hand, in quality polymer clay without the use of molds. The eyes are of blue color, previously cooked and paintings, I then inserted during the processing of facial features. The wings are handmade with real feathers and are removable. hair is made out of Tibetan wool. I built the bow, quiver and arrows with stainless steel wire, leather and wooden lath. Cupid is sitting on a real branch of wood, fixed to the base that has a pin to ensure the stable position of Cupid. I decorated the base with small flowers, lichens and cork.
